About the role

As an educator, you play a key role in Novahuset's preventive, supportive, and outreach work. You meet target groups through lectures, school visits, support conversations, and digital outreach.

The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues and external actors such as schools and other organizations.

You actively contribute to spreading knowledge, establishing contact with target groups, and strengthening the understanding of issues related to sexual violence, boundaries, consent, and relationships.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include among other things:

• Conducting lectures and educational initiatives for adults.
• Holding lectures for children and young people.
• Conducting support conversations.
• Working with digital outreach activities.
• Collaborating with schools, municipalities, and other actors.
• Contributing to the planning, development, and implementation of the activities.
• Handling administration related to the assignment, statistics, and follow-up.
• Keeping up to date with relevant social issues and the needs of the target group.

We are looking for someone who has

Qualifications

Relevant education in areas such as:

• Social sciences
• Behavioral sciences
• Pedagogy
• Social work
• Or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent

Experience of:

• Working with young people or target-group-oriented work
• Facilitating conversations, education, or presentations
• Collaboration with other organizations or actors
• Work within social issues, civil society, or similar
