About the role

As a System Engineer at Forsmark, you will have a strategic and technically exciting assignment. You become the "owner" of specific systems at the plant and are responsible for their function, availability, and lifespan.

Stepping into the world of nuclear power requires patience and a substantial development year where you familiarize yourself with complex regulations and systems. Therefore, your journey begins with a tailor-made development plan and a rotation where you are supported by senior mentors to gradually grow into the role. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measurement, control, and protection systems
• Calibrate, check, and verify instruments (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, and level)
• Troubleshoot and rectify disturbances in instrument and automation systems
• Participate in audits, shutdowns, and projects within instrument and control systems
• Document performed work according to current procedures and regulatory requirements
• Participate in analyses of operational disturbances and contribute to improvement measures
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality requirements
• Collaborate with operations personnel, engineers, and other technical functions

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant post-secondary engineering degree (university or civil engineer, e.g., in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical physics, energy technology, or automation) or equivalent work experience.
• Good understanding of systems within mechanics, electricity, or instrumentation and control.
• Experience in technical analysis, investigations, or documentation.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the role involves significant documentation and regulatory requirements.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience from process industry, power production, or other safety-critical operations.
