International Sales Director – Build the Global Market of the Future

Do you want to take a world-leading product to the next level? Are you driven by international business, strong relationships, and the opportunity to build markets from the ground up?

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an International Sales Director who wants to take overall responsibility for developing and creating continued growth in both established and new markets.

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a key position for you who want to combine strategy with operational execution, work internationally, and be a driving force in the company's continued expansion.

About the Role

You will become the company's extended arm in the world and be responsible for the success of our business. Through active leadership, clear follow-up, and a strong business focus, you create the conditions for increased sales, stronger partnerships, and the establishment of new markets.

You will travel internationally, build relationships with distributors and end customers, negotiate business terms, and drive activities that strengthen our global position.

The role suits you if you find it equally stimulating to discuss strategy in a boardroom as it is to be out in the field creating business together with customers and partners.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and challenge our international distributor network
  • Conduct customer and partner visits worldwide
  • Plan and participate in international trade fairs and events
  • Conduct commercial training and sales development activities
  • Contribute to the development of the company's global distribution strategy
  • Take own initiatives and turn ideas into business and results

We believe you have:

  • Experience in international sales via distributors or retailer networks
  • Documented success in developing and building business in new markets
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in negotiation and commercial work

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Good knowledge of Spanish
  • Technical background or a genuine interest in technology
  • Experience from entrepreneur-led companies
  • Experience with business systems, e.g., Monitor G5
