About the role
As a welder at our client's facility in the automotive industry in Hallsberg, you will be responsible for welding and quality-assuring cabs and tanks for construction machinery. You will handle both manual and robotic welding, following drawings, using measuring tools, performing leak tests, and conducting inspections to ensure the highest quality standards. You will work both independently and as part of a team, where collaboration and precision are crucial for achieving defect-free products. This is a fixed-term full-time position where you will work in a two-shift system.
Please note that response times may be delayed during the summer holiday period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the expected start date is in the autumn.
About you
We are looking for someone who is structured, driven, and has a strong focus on quality. It is important that you have good teamwork skills while also being able to work independently. It is central that you enjoy physical work, as many practical and physical tasks are part of the job. Requirements for the role:
- Upper secondary education or similar training in welding
- Overhead crane training
- Forklift license A1-A4 and B1-B4
- Swedish language skills (speaking and writing)
- Computer skills
Meritorious qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding
- Previous experience in robotic welding
- Previous experience in press braking
- Interest in technology
