Machine Setter – Loading & Packing

Are you attracted to working in a technical role where you can combine problem-solving with quality and production? As a Machine Setter at Nammo, you will contribute to efficient workflows and a safe manufacturing process.

About the Role

As a Machine Setter, you play a central role in production, responsible for ensuring a stable and efficient production flow. You prepare and perform machine setups, monitor machines, and handle deviations that arise in the process.

In this role, you collaborate closely with colleagues and management to ensure that production maintains the correct quality, pace, and safety levels. You also actively contribute to improving working methods and maintaining a well-functioning and structured production environment.

Examples of tasks:

  • Set up and prepare machines for production
  • Monitor production and address causes of stoppages
  • Perform quality controls
  • Car out maintenance and preventive measures
  • React to deviations and report quality defects

Our Candidate

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and has a technical interest. You enjoy practical work and have strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to quickly identify and rectify deviations in production. You are flexible and easy to collaborate with, while taking responsibility for your tasks and driving them forward in a structured manner.

This role suits you if you enjoy working in a production environment where the pace can sometimes be high, and where quality, safety, and delivery precision are in focus. You contribute to a good work environment through your engagement and willingness to develop both working methods and processes.

To succeed in this role, we would appreciate experience from the manufacturing industry or similar practical work, but this is not a requirement as internal training can be provided on-site. An industrial technical education is advantageous. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and can understand English.

The position requires Swedish citizenship, and a suitability assessment will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.

Contact

For more information about the position, you are welcome to contact the hiring manager, Peter Samuelsson, Process Manager, at [email protected].
