You will have the opportunity to influence how new products and production solutions are developed, while the company faces significant investments in automation, new machinery, and future production flows.
You will become part of a knowledgeable team with strong cohesion and a culture characterized by collaboration, development, and community. Your work also contributes to improving people's quality of life; the technology has so far helped rehabilitate over 20 million smiles globally!
Nobel Biocare offers among other things private insurance, pension benefits, parental leave, health benefits via Epassi, and reduced working hours (ATK). Here, there is an active focus on competence development through internal and external training, as well as good opportunities for development both within your technical field and through international contacts. At Nobel Biocare, you will thrive if you are curious, flexible, and appreciate a dynamic work environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Create CNC programs, develop tooling, and manufacture prototypes.
- Develop manufacturing processes for standard production.
- Contribute to the development of drawings for manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in matters related to design and manufacturability.
- Provide technical feedback on how products can be optimized for production.
Worth Knowing
The role is production-oriented and involves close collaboration with production as well as cooperation with R&D in Zurich.
Nobel Biocare is facing extensive investments in new machinery, automation, and production modernization, giving you the opportunity to influence future working methods and processes.
You will belong to the NPI team of approximately 16–18 people who work with CNC programming, metrology, and the development of new products.
Interviews for this position will take place from mid-August.
Our Expectations
We believe you are educated in CNC and have a few years of experience in the profession. You thrive in a project-oriented environment where you get to work with new products, development, and technical improvements. You appreciate working closely with both design and production and find it motivating to contribute solutions on how products can be produced in a smart, efficient, and high-quality manner. If you also have experience with CAM programming, it is a big plus!
To succeed in the role, you need to be analytical, communicative, and curious, while also enjoying international collaboration and working in change-driven environments. You are comfortable using English as the working language, as the role involves regular contact with R&D in Zurich. Here, you are expected to participate in technical discussions regarding new products, manufacturability, and industrialization together with international colleagues.
