Do you have an eye for detail and thrive in careful, technical work? Do you want to work in a high-tech production environment where quality, precision, and collaboration are in focus? We are now looking for electronics assemblers for BAE Systems in Karlskoga.

About the role

As an electronics assembler, you will become part of a growing department with a strong team spirit and high competence. The group currently consists of engaged colleagues with broad experience, and the department is facing an expansion phase with increased production and new equipment.

The role involves practical and careful work where you rotate between different stations. You work both independently and in teams, with clear goals and daily follow-up. The work takes place in a modern and newly renovated environment with specially adapted tools and equipment.

Your responsibilities

In the role of electronics assembler, you work with fine assembly and testing of components in a structured production environment. The work is varied and involves rotating between different tasks throughout the day, which provides good breadth and development in the role.

You work with small, precise components where quality and accuracy are crucial. After assembly, the products are tested before they move on in the process, making you an important part of ensuring function and safety.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

  • Assembling smaller components, such as circuit boards and batteries, in advanced products
  • Performing soldering of small details, often with the help of a microscope
  • Testing and quality assurance of products after assembly
  • Working with casting and other moments in production
  • Following assembly instructions and documenting completed work
  • Contributing to achieving daily production goals together with the team

The work takes place at a calm pace with a high focus on quality, where accuracy always comes before speed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an interest in practical and careful work and who thrive in a role where structure and quality are in focus. Previous experience from production or assembly is meritorious, but we place great importance on your personal qualities and your willingness to learn.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. The work requires some computer literacy as you handle simpler systems for testing and documentation.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to:

  • Have a technical interest and enjoy working with your hands
  • Enjoy detailed work and have good fine motor skills
  • Be careful and quality-conscious
  • Have the ability to follow instructions and routines

It is meritorious if you have experience of similar work, for example assembly of electronics or soldering.

Personal qualities

To thrive in the role, we see that you are a responsible and careful person with an eye for detail. You have a positive attitude, are curious, and have a desire to develop together with the team.

You are a team player who contributes to a good working environment and likes to work together towards common goals. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. We value a non-hierarchical approach and are looking for you who are engaged and want to contribute to the group's success.
