About Us

The Palliative Care Unit is a small workplace with great opportunities. Here, we provide high-quality specialized palliative care with the patient at the center. Patients with various diagnoses come to us, all receiving care in the final stages of life when a cure is no longer possible. We have 6 beds, all in private single rooms.

The Palliative Care Unit is part of the Clinic for Acute Geriatrics, Stroke and Palliative Care (KASP). We work in teams, in close collaboration across all professions. Within our operations, there is a care leader who works close to the business with improvement initiatives within our specialist area. We collaborate closely with the SSIH service, which cares for palliative patients in their homes.

We are now looking for you who have interest, commitment, and motivation to provide high-quality palliative care, with a desire to "do that little extra" for the patient.

Your Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse on our unit, you are part of a team surrounding the patient. Our working method enables good nursing care from a holistic perspective with the patient at the center. The main purpose of the work is to provide optimal quality of life and well-being for the patient and good support for relatives.

As an assistant nurse with us, you work days, evenings, and weekends. Your work requires good cooperation with other professions, but also the courage to work independently and to a certain extent make your own decisions.

Your Qualifications

You are an assistant nurse with a professional certificate and have a strong interest in caring for and meeting patients and relatives. You preferably have several years of professional experience and a good ethical sense.

We are looking for you who are engaged, sensitive, and accustomed to building relationships with patients and relatives. You have good cooperation and planning skills and can view a situation from different perspectives. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

Permanent employment on a full-time basis or as agreed, with start date as agreed.
