About the Department

The Pediatric and Adolescent Ward cares for children and adolescents under the age of 18. We have a pediatric focus but also treat children within orthopedics, surgery, and ENT, and we have close cooperation with child psychiatry. The ward also cares for sick newborns and premature infants from gestational week 32. We work with family-centered care where parents are involved in the care throughout the entire stay. There are 8 care beds on the ward in Örnsköldsvik. Here we employ nurses, pediatric nurses, nursing assistants, and specialist nursing assistants within pediatric and adolescent medicine. We are now looking for you who want to contribute to our operations!

We are looking for two nurses for our Pediatric and Adolescent Ward. We plan an individual introduction to provide good conditions for the assignment. We have individual schedules with plenty of room for recovery, and we work 2 out of 5 weekends. The positions are permanent full-time employment with access as agreed.

Job Responsibilities

The ward offers a unique workplace with varied tasks, for example:

• Support the family in care
• Emergency care interventions

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you:

• Are further educated as a pediatric nurse
• Are further educated in pediatrics and neonatology
• Have previous experience working in pediatrics
