Ahlsell is developing its offering within Industrial FlowTech Solutions with the goal of becoming the leading system and solution partner in Northern Europe for industrial flow technology. Here, we combine technical competence, advisory services, products, and services to create clear customer value.
We are now looking for a business-driven and technically knowledgeable Product Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for developing our offering within valves, pumps, measuring instruments, and industrial flow technology solutions.
The role is central to our shift from product sales to solution and system business, with a focus on customer value, profitability, and technical competence.
As Product Manager, you ensure that Ahlsell has a competitive, relevant, and profitable assortment that meets customer needs – today and in the future.
You work closely with suppliers, the sales organization, specialists, and internal functions to drive assortment development, strengthen supplier relationships, and create conditions for growth.

Your future responsibilities
As Product Manager, you develop an attractive and profitable assortment that strengthens the sales organization's offering and contributes to growth. You build relationships internally and externally and drive the work towards the best possible business, assortment, and supplier collaboration.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Develop the assortment within valves, pumps, measuring instruments, and industrial flow technology
- Identify market opportunities, assortment gaps, and growth areas
- Drive the development of FlowTech Solutions and the shift towards solution and system business
- Develop strategic supplier relationships and new business opportunities
- Responsible for pricing strategy, margin development, product mix, and profitability
- Support the sales force in complex customer dialogues, projects, and training
- Create and drive category plans, EMV projects, and environmental scanning
- Drive Nordic category work and contribute to strategic acquisition projects
Who are you?
- Have experience from industrial flow technology or related technical fields
- Have knowledge in areas such as valves, pumps, measurement technology, process technology, or automation
- Have experience in business development, technical sales, product management, or system solutions
- Have strong business acumen, technical interest, and the ability to translate customer needs into profitable offerings
- Enjoy combining strategic work with operational execution
- Are structured, analytical, and accustomed to working towards goals and deadlines
- Build trusting relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- Are comfortable handling data, systems, and Excel as support for business decisions
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
