About the role

We are looking for you who want to use your competence to ensure high quality in operation and maintenance work on roads. If you have previous experience in construction management/site supervision and want to develop in an engaged group that is passionate about their work, then this is the role for you.

About the position

As a Construction Manager with us, you will become an important part of Road Survey Technology (RST) – the leading actor in road maintenance in the Nordics. You will be part of a competent team of approximately 10 people and be responsible for construction management in the Fyrbodal area. The work is carried out in close cooperation with the Swedish Transport Administration’s project managers and the contractors hired by them. You should be living somewhere between Gothenburg and Karlstad and its surroundings.

The work is seasonal and most intensive during the spring.

Your main tasks:

• Conduct action inventories.
• Work in the Swedish Transport Administration's system LINA.
• Participate in meetings with the Swedish Transport Administration and the contractor.
• Follow-up and controls.

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, the following are required:

• At least five years of experience working in the road marking industry.
• Work experience in construction management/site supervision.
• Ability to have flexible working hours.
• Good communication skills and a great commitment to your work.
• Good planning skills and habit of taking responsibility for your assignments.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of working in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of what seasonal work entails.
• Category B driver's license (a requirement).

Painting/striping is not included in the role, but knowledge is meritorious.
