About the role

As a Plant Controller, you will have a central role where you serve as an economic support to the factory's operations and management. Your daily work is characterized by both strategic issues and daily operational tasks. In collaboration with the company's other controllers in Sweden, you will bring economic competence to the operations in Hässleholm.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Work close to production with daily economic analyses and calculations
• Prepare economic decision support materials for the operations
• Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
• Participate in monthly and annual closing
• Analyze key figures, costs, investments, and profitability
• Identify areas for improvement and development together with production
• Drive and support change and efficiency work
• Ensure internal controls and economic follow-up
• Present economic analyses and results to operations and management

About you

We are looking for someone who has a great interest in both economics and production. You thrive in working close to operations and are good at turning economic analyses into concrete improvement proposals. You are analytical, structured, and driven by developing operations through data-driven decisions.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in economics, accounting, controlling, or equivalent
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar economic function
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, closing, and economic follow-up
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good skills in Excel and business systems

We are looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and business-oriented. You have a strong personal drive and thrive working both strategically and operationally. You are communicative and good at building trust within the organization, while also daring to challenge existing working methods to contribute to improvements and increased profitability. We also appreciate if you have a technical interest that you can utilize in a production environment.
