At Attendo, we are now looking for several assistant nurses for Home Care in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the role As an assistant nurse with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support, where meal situations and social interaction are important parts. You also contribute with activities that brighten up the daily lives of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

  • Personal care according to the organization's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
  • Help with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, as well as performing service tasks such as cleaning and laundry, but also accompaniment and relief at home for relatives.
  • Documentation and work based on decided interventions.
  • Collaboration with internal and external contacts such as guardians, relatives, colleagues, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Assistant nurse education of at least 1350 credits.
  • Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in home care.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Cycling proficiency.

About the recruitment process Prior to any employment, extracts from the criminal record and valid photo ID must be presented. During the interview, you must be able to prove your right to work in Sweden (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permit).

We conduct random alcohol and drug tests.
