At Knightec Group, you will become part of our design team within Design & Digital Experience. Here, you will have the opportunity to strengthen and develop our digital-physical design offering through your expertise in UX, UI, and interaction design.
Assignments vary across industries and clients, but what they have in common is that you work closely with users, clients, and development teams to create products and services with high usability and business value. You take a leading role throughout the entire design process – from insight and concept development to the final solution.
You will work within the business area Hardware & Design, where we combine engineering competence with specialist knowledge and user-centered design to develop tomorrow's products and digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:

- Plan and execute activities within UX, UI, and interaction design.
- Gather, analyze, and translate user insights into design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual interfaces.
- Conduct user tests and iterate solutions based on insights and feedback.
- Communicate and anchor design decisions with clients, users, and other stakeholders.
- Motivate and communicate the value of design and the design process, as well as its methods and solutions, to various stakeholders.
- Build and implement design systems.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to ensure that design supports both business goals and technical requirements.
Qualifications
You are a person who combines strong design competence with business understanding and a consultative approach. You are accustomed to taking responsibility, working close to customers, and building trust with various stakeholders.
We believe you have experience leading design work in roles such as UX Lead, Lead UX Designer, or similar, and that you feel confident guiding both clients and teams through the design process. You appreciate and contribute to a professional, non-hierarchical, and warm work environment where we support and inspire each other.
- Academic degree, BA/MA, in technical design, interaction design, product development, computer science, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer, or similar in visual interface design.

- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading projects from a design perspective and adapting design processes to the project's goals and prerequisites, regardless of whether the project focuses on research, innovation, brand building, or HMI/UX/UI design.
