Jefferson Wells is now looking for you – a driven and meticulous person – for a consultancy assignment in Karlskrona, starting as agreed.
About the Role
As an Operational Buyer, you will become a key part of our client's purchasing and logistics flow. The work involves daily contact with internal functions and suppliers, and you will play a central role in ensuring that the right materials are in place at the right time.
You will work in an environment where structure, quality, and good communication are crucial – and where you will have the opportunity to learn modern purchasing processes in a cutting-edge international operation.
Your Responsibilities
- Placing and following up on purchase orders in business systems
- Monitoring deliveries, handling discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams
- Updating item data such as prices, lead times, and supplier information
- Administering purchase-related documents and reports
- Collaborating with goods receiving, strategic buyers, and logistics functions
- Ensuring that purchasing flows follow procedures and quality requirements
- Maintaining contact and communication with suppliers
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience from purchasing, logistics, administration, or a similar role
- Good system proficiency and confidence in working with business systems
- Very good knowledge of Excel and the Office suite
- Structure, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience in purchasing within industry or manufacturing
- Worked with call-offs or item administration
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, or Monitor)
- Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, logistics, or engineering
