Wapro AB continues its international growth journey and is now looking for a driven Export Area Manager who wants to help strengthen the company's presence on global markets. Your responsibilities
As Export Sales Manager, you will become a central part of the company's global growth together with colleagues and established sales companies in the USA, Germany, England, and Denmark. You will work with existing distributors as well as building up new potential markets such as India, parts of Asia, South America, etc. Your responsibilities and tasks include among other things:
- Develop and maintain existing international distributors
- Identify and establish new partners in markets where Wapro is not yet established
- Drive the entire sales process – from contact and quote to follow-up and closing, including:
- Develop action and activity plans together with those responsible at distributors
- Create sales budgets and KPI follow-ups together with the person responsible at the distributor
- Product training for both new and existing distributors
- Conduct joint customer visits together with distributors
- Participate in international and national trade fairs as well as customer visits
- Follow up on CRM and ensure that all customers and business opportunities are handled in a structured manner
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, customer service, and technical support.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are curious about an international sales challenge and have experience in B2B sales with an international focus. What we believe and hope you bring with you is:
- Experience in establishing new customers on export markets
- Experience in complex value selling or work with public sector internationally is an advantage
- If you are not working in the field today, you are an experienced and driven inside salesperson with international experience, curious about the next step in your career
- Structured and solution-oriented approach with the ability to create order and progress
- Good analytical skills and habit of following up on results and KPIs
- Fluent English; more languages are an advantage, preferably Spanish
As a person, you are unpretentious but self-assured, proactive, and relationship-building. You are passionate about understanding the customer's needs and turning opportunities into sales. You enjoy building long-term collaborations, creating structure, and driving results. The role requires initiative, proactivity, and a high degree of business acumen where you can move between more overarching sales strategies and operational issues.

About the client
Wapro, with headquarters in Karlshamn, is a company specialized in flood protection and flow regulation for sewage and stormwater in the segments Environment and Aqua culture. Wapro has developed several unique products to secure water flows, prevent flooding, and create flow control. Wapro has manufacturing in Karlshamn, Sweden, and Otterup, Denmark, where we develop, manufacture, and market the products. The main end customers are municipalities and municipally owned water and wastewater companies, which are processed directly through own companies in Sweden, USA, Denmark, England, and Germany, and through partners in about 20 countries worldwide. International sales account for approx. 80% of turnover.
Today, we have a total of 50 employees in the company, approx. 20 in the Swedish part. In the operations, everyone works with great engagement and has a good atmosphere that we value highly. Wapro and its products are known in the market, stand for a lot of know-how, and want to deliver security to our customers.
