This is a consultancy assignment through Framtiden, located in Karlskrona.
About the Role
As a Technical Procurement Assistant, you operate at the intersection between purchasers and technical handlers, focusing on analyzing technical data and maintaining article data in the systems. You primarily support purchasers in selecting the right materials and contribute knowledge about suppliers' ability to produce and deliver against the collective requirements – materials that ultimately become parts of advanced marine defense systems.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Create new procurement articles in the material catalog and ensure mandatory attributes are registered so that articles become purchasable
- Create purchase requisitions based on needs in the system or other material-driven documents, and consolidate purchases in a cost-effective manner
- Procure materials for projects where deliveries occur over a longer period (forecast purchasing)
- Assist purchasers and other functions with technical expertise, including when questions arise from suppliers
About You
We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who thrives working at a detailed level. You handle a high workload with a good ability to plan your own work, and possess high social competence – the role involves collaboration with many people and functions, so willingness to collaborate, a service-oriented attitude, and attention to detail are crucial. Great importance is placed on your personal suitability; you may have a broad background and still do an excellent job in this role.
We are looking for someone who has
- Relevant education in economics, procurement, production, or similar
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Unhindered Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Good knowledge of Office programs
- Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance prior to employment, which may entail citizenship requirements

- Knowledge of different types of materials
- Relevant education and relevant work experience
- Analytical ability and interest in details
