We are looking for a personal assistant for our son

We are looking for a personal assistant for our teenage son, who has a mental developmental level of 1–2 years. The boy walks with some need for support due to balance issues, wears diapers, and requires help with all aspects of his daily life.

This job is suitable for you if you:

• Have great patience and a calm approach.
• Are sensitive, empathetic, and focused on the boy and the work as a whole – quick and eager to learn.
• Understand children's different needs.
• Adapt your interaction to the child's needs/developmental level and master low-affective interaction.
• Have the ability to wait without becoming stressed.
• Can use public transportation and are not allergic to fur-bearing animals (requirement).
• Can sit still for long periods but also have the ability to be active for long periods.

Qualifying experiences:

• Experience with small children.
• Epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and autism.
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)/Total Communication/Sign Language.
• Tube feeding/gastrostomy and medication administration.
• Experience working with people with functional variations.
