We are looking for you who want to help shape how we best organize ourselves to meet the needs based on the new Social Services Act. Are you a positive, change-oriented visionary? We welcome your application!

About the workplace

In the city, the Social Services Administration is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable the city's residents to become independent in life so that they can take an active part in society. We have undergone an exciting organizational change with a focus on creating a more accessible social services system based on three main areas: authority, interventions and services, and housing.

The entire Social Services Administration is currently undertaking a comprehensive initiative on Signs of Safety, creating a common approach throughout the organization with a clear focus on transparency, high participation, and creating sustainable solutions together with the individual and their network.

The Reception and Preventive Support Unit will be led by two unit managers, each leading two areas. You will operationally lead a team focusing on adults and the administration's criminal team. You will be supported by a team leader colleague in the unit who primarily will lead the social emergency service, as well as two other team leaders within the unit working with a focus on children and violence in close relationships.

Job Description

You will lead a team of approximately nine employees. As a team leader, you will be part of a network with the authority's other 17 team leaders, a group that together has a very broad competence and where people are helpful and care for each other.

We work with the best interests of our residents in focus, using ourselves as tools. Collaboration, both internal and external, is important to us to provide our residents with the best possible treatment and understanding of the Social Services Administration's mission.

Your role as a team leader is to lead, distribute, and coordinate the team's work, as well as be responsible for efficiency, productivity, and quality. The work includes ensuring that laws, guidelines, and ethical principles are followed to provide support and services to the city's residents. The team leader acts as an operational and present leader for the employees, which means supporting and coaching the team in daily work, acting as an expert resource, and having knowledge of the breadth of the team's target group. We are now looking for you with at least four years of experience in authority work within social work at a reception unit.

What we offer

As an employee with us, you will get a management close to the operations and engaged colleagues who can support and introduce you to the work and the organization, as well as access to lawyers and other support functions. Benefits that you can take part in include, among other things, flexible working hours, 3,000 SEK per year in wellness allowance, holiday exchange, and reduced working hours in the summer. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious.

Qualifications

Required for the work:

  • Social Work Degree (Social Worker)
  • At least four years of experience in authority work within social work at a reception unit
  • Experience in interpreting and applying relevant legislation
  • Experience in applying evidence-based methods

Meritorious:

  • Experience working as a leader
  • Courses in leadership, such as developmental leadership, coaching leadership, or similar

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
