We are looking for you who are engaged and want to make a difference for our client in her home and in the environments where she spends her time. The work as a personal assistant includes common tasks within personal assistance, such as personal care, accompanying her to activities, and participating in other social gatherings. The client attends her day activity program Monday–Friday and has recurring activities during the week such as choir, gymnastics, horse riding, and swimming.

To be suitable for the job with our client, it is important that you get to know her for who she is and understand her support needs. You will become an important part of her daily life, with a focus on strengthening her self-determination and joy of life. As a person, you need to be a present support in her daily life, radiate security, and have a professional attitude that also includes taking initiative for activities she enjoys. Since the client has limited speech, it is important that you provide support when needed, both for her and on her behalf, in the situations where it is required. Experience with communication aids or previous care experience, either within personal assistance or similar tasks, is meritorious. Having access to a car is an advantage but not a requirement.

To be considered for the position, you must:

• Be female

• Hold a manual driver's license and have access to a car

• Be a competent swimmer

• Be a non-smoker

• Have good Swedish skills in both speech and writing

• Employment type: 70%

• Scope: Part-time

• Working hours: Variable. Weekdays after day activity which ends between 13:00–15:00 and until approx. 20:00. Weekends from approx. 11:00–18:00. You will work at least every other weekend.

• Start date: According to agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
