Then the position as Administrator at the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Administration in Lund might be for you.
The Care Unit (VE) for Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) belongs to the Business Area (VO) Specialized Surgery and provides both basic and highly specialized healthcare in outpatient and inpatient care. The ENT operations include general clinics as well as specialized clinics for hearing, voice and speech therapy, allergy and balance disorders, sleep disorders, and for patients with tumor diseases in the head and neck area. The unit also provides emergency services. We have approximately 37,000 patient visits per year, of which about half are emergency cases. Together with Lund University and Malmö University, the ENT operations provide education for doctors, speech therapists, and audiologists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator, you work, among other things, with staffing the reception and appointment booking. Furthermore, you handle cases in 1177 as well as reception lists both before and after completed consultations. The duties also include handling mail and referrals, including registering incoming referrals, forwarding referrals to private healthcare providers, and monitoring and collecting referral responses. The work also includes various types of administrative registrations. We have two receptions, one at Lasarettsgatan 21 and a central cash desk that we share with the endocrine clinic at Lasarettsgatan 15.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have completed and approved upper secondary education, preferably with an administrative or economic focus. For the position, documented experience in qualified administrative work is required. Since the duties involve a lot of contact with patients, it is of great importance that you have an easy way of expressing yourself both verbally and in writing and that your knowledge of the Swedish language is very good. If you have experience working with similar duties and/or have work experience within healthcare, this is considered meritorious for the position. In addition, you have good computer skills. If you have previous experience working in PASiS, it is meritorious for the position.
It should be obvious to you to provide service to both patients and other professional categories. Being flexible is also something that characterizes you. You enjoy working in a team and take responsibility for completing your tasks with good quality. Furthermore, you have an interest and a desire to develop within the work area, and we expect you to work for a positive work environment. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
