Do you want to work at a school where you have the opportunity to inspire students and make a difference in their learning and development? At Forsnässkolan in Munkfors, we are looking for an engaged and confident teacher in German and Swedish as a Second Language (SAS) for grades 4–9.

Description

Forsnässkolan has approximately 260 students in grades 4–9, as well as an adapted primary school. Around 40 employees work at the school, divided into two work teams: grades 4–6 and grades 7–9. Each work team is led by a team leader and collaborates closely with student health professionals regarding students' learning, development, and well-being.

At Forsnässkolan, collegial learning and joint development work are important parts of the operations. We actively work with language- and knowledge-developing approaches, accessible learning environments, and pedagogical leadership. As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to develop teaching and working methods together with engaged colleagues, with the students' best interests at the forefront.

The role includes teaching German as a modern language and Swedish as a Second Language. You will also serve as a class mentor for a grade 7 class.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach German and Swedish as a Second Language. Additional subject qualifications are meritorious.

You are a confident and clear educator who builds good relationships with students and has the ability to adapt teaching based on different students' needs and prerequisites. You are passionate about your subject and wish to spark students' interest in language and learning.

You thrive in collaboration, enjoy sharing experiences, and contribute to the school's development. You are curious about current research and wish to develop your teaching from a scientific approach.

Experience or special competence in working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities is seen as meritorious.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Conditions

This is a temporary position (60–100%) covering the regular incumbent's leave of absence, starting in August 2026. The temporary position is expected to last until December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Before any potential employment, you must be able to provide a recent extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions, as the position involves working with children.

Individual salary setting applies for this position. The final salary is determined based on a comprehensive assessment of education, experience, competence, and the scope of the assignment.
