We are looking for someone who, with Jesus as a role model, wants to make a difference in people's lives through the diaconal work in the parishes of Långsele, Graninge, Helgum, and Ramsele-Edsele, and as needed, throughout the rest of the Sollefteå Pastorate.

About the position

As a Deaconess Assistant, you will become an important part of the pastorate's diaconal work. You will plan and lead activities for adults, manage craft cafes, and lead devotions together with our church musicians. Here you will meet people in both joy and sorrow, create community, and be there when someone needs a fellow human being. Together with dedicated colleagues and volunteers, you will be part of the Church of Sweden's important mission – to see, meet, and carry hope.

The position includes evening and weekend duties.

We are looking for someone who

• has a strong commitment to people and a warm approach
• preferably has a basic education in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent
• has good planning skills and can work both independently and collaboratively
• can use digital tools and communicates well both orally and in writing
• has a B driver's license and access to a private car.
