About the Company

Securitas plays a vital role in society, managing one of Sweden's most important missions – to protect and help people feel safe. Now is your chance to become part of Sweden's largest security company. Whether you want to work full-time or part-time, during the day or night, we need more colleagues.

As the country's largest employer in our industry, we can offer you development opportunities and variety that few other companies can. We strive for unified leadership with a balance between expectations and prerequisites.

Securitas Sweden places its personnel on war-time deployment. This means in short that as an employee, in the event of war, you will retain your employment and be led by Securitas.

You take care of people's safety – Securitas takes care of you.

About the Role

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a licensed security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training prior to employment. The basic training lasts for 9 working days and is conducted in various locations across Sweden before the employment begins. As a new employee, you will start with an introductory period to get accustomed to the work, feel secure, and master our systems.

As a patrol security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industrial sites, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, day or night. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts, either day or night. Since we are an operation that runs 365 days a year, working every other weekend is common.

One of your security guard colleagues in the country is Samir. He wants to take this opportunity to send a few words to you who are curious about applying for the position:

"Being a patrol guard is varied. At night, I visit several customers while the city sleeps, and I appreciate the calm that sets in when I've ensured everything is safe – it gives a special sense of responsibility and freedom. Every customer and location has its own rhythm and routines, which makes the job stimulating, unpredictable, and always interesting."

We are safety. We are Securitas.

When we recruit new colleagues, we place great emphasis on finding the right person based on personal qualities. We are convinced that these qualities are crucial for how you will thrive in the job, as well as how well you succeed in the role.

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.
