Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time stationary guard for a client in Filipstad. As a stationary guard, you are customer-aware and their face to the outside world. You often work at an entrance, being available for visitors and welcoming everyone with professional treatment, where service and security are in focus. Here you deliver security by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. This position suits you if you want a social role where you interact with many people.

We are an operation that is open every day of the year. Working hours are during the day, although weekend work may occur. You primarily work in a reception and are responsible for, among other things, access control. You assist with all sorts of questions or situations and ensure a high level of service.

Are you not a trained guard? We will train you! The basic training consists of 9 working days and is conducted in various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you start with an introductory period to get used to the work, feel secure, and learn to handle our systems.

Requirements

• Passed grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
• Good knowledge of English

Merits:

• Category B driver's license
• Experience in similar tasks or within the service industry (e.g., reception, retail)
• Civil or military guard training

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have passed grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and terms of employment are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
