We are looking for an engaged and qualified social worker for the social services in Laxå Municipality. As a social worker for social assistance and adults, you will play a central role in supporting and ensuring welfare in our municipality.

You will work in a team together with another social worker and be led by a senior social worker.

Responsibilities

As a social worker for social assistance and adults in Laxå Municipality, you will work with all parts of the social services. You will, among other things, conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Persons with Certain Mental Illness Act (LVM), collaborate closely with the Adult Education and Employment Service (AME), and follow up on interventions. This makes the work both stimulating and varied. By working with all parts of the social services, you will have a broad and developing role where no day is like the other. The variety of the assignment gives you good opportunities to get to know the people you meet on a deeper level, build trusting relationships, and create sustainable alliances. The close work with clients, combined with the opportunity to follow cases over time, contributes to meaningful work where you can clearly see the impact of your engagement.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and experience working as a case worker within social assistance and/or adult case management. We would appreciate if you have experience with the business system Procapita, have good communication skills, and the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients and collaborating partners. You also need to have good administrative skills and be able to work independently.
