We are looking for a Railway Contract Supervisor for Trafikverket.

This is a consulting assignment. The workplace is Eskilstuna.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

Consultant construction manager for design and production for the total contract Kolbäck-Dingtuna, Eskilstuna C, Rekarne meeting station, and Folkesta intermodal terminal.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks independently.
• Follow up on consultation documents, review documents, and complete railway plans.
• Participate in the preparation of construction documents and tender documents.
• Check constructability, production methods, capacities, control programs/plans, and uncertainties.
• Review work preparation before the start of work on new construction sections to ensure that errors, deficiencies, and critical moments regarding time, quality, environment, working environment, safety, and risk are detected early.
• Continuously monitor the contractor's progress and compliance with current contract requirements regarding quality, environment, and working environment.
• Participate in inspections and surveys.
• Follow up that inspection remarks are rectified by the contractor (C).
• Ensure that quality documentation from the contractor is delivered according to the requirements in the documents.
• Verify the contractor's costs and diaries.
• Check notifications and ÄTA (Additional/Changed Work) tasks and verify documentation.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience working with Trafikverket's process for handing over projects to the operation/maintenance phase, including delivery of documents to the managing system.
• Completed Trafikverket School's training "Planning of roads and railways – process and consultation" within the last year calculated from the last bid day.
• 5 years of experience from the contracting side within railways.
