About the Role

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a licensed security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training prior to employment.

In this position, you will work as a patrol security guard. As a patrol security guard, you are responsible for performing security duties at multiple client sites during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, indoor patrols, alarm activations, and lock-ups at client sites. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility. The role of patrol security guard suits you if you want a job where you can keep moving. Regardless of which client you work for, your main task is to be vigilant and ensure everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility.

The positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, day or night. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts, either day or night. As we are a business operating 365 days a year, working every other weekend is common.

One of your security guard colleagues in the country is Samir. He would like to pass on a few words to you who are curious about applying for the position:

"Being a patrol guard is varied. At night, I visit several clients while the city sleeps, and I appreciate the calm that sets in when I have ensured everything is safe – it gives a special feeling of responsibility and freedom. Every client and location has its own rhythm and its own routines, which makes the job stimulating, unpredictable, and always interesting."

We are safety. We are Securitas.
