We are now looking for a preschool teacher for Daggkåpan Preschool for a temporary position during the school year 2026/2027.

Daggkåpan Preschool is located in a residential area in Skattkärr and is characterized by close collaboration among the educators. Together, we have developed a common pedagogical platform that permeates the education and work on all departments. This creates a strong sense of community, a clear thread in the operations, and a "we-feeling" among both children and staff.

In our work, we start from a common theme that creates prerequisites for joyful learning. We are inspired by a play-pedagogical approach where play, curiosity, imagination, and participation are important parts of the children's daily lives. All departments work from the same theme, adapted to the children's age, maturity, and interests. In this way, we bring the curriculum to life and create an operation where learning, joy, and community go hand in hand.

Responsibilities

At Daggkåpan Preschool, you will work as a preschool teacher on a department for children aged 1–3 years. You are well acquainted with the preschool's pedagogical mission and regulatory documents and play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating, and developmental environment for the children.

You plan, implement, document, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum's goals as well as the children's needs, interests, and development. Together with your colleagues, you design learning environments that spark the children's curiosity, play, creativity, and desire to learn.

As part of Daggkåpan Preschool, you actively contribute to systematic quality work through reflection, analysis, and development of the operations. We expect you to take responsibility for your assignment, show great commitment to children's learning and development, and wish to be an active part of Daggkåpan Preschool's continued development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or alternatively awaiting your license.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to take responsibility for your work and make independent decisions based on the operations' goals and needs. You strive to achieve good results and have the ability to maintain focus even when the pace is high or the challenges are complex. In meetings with colleagues, you contribute to an open and respectful collaboration where different perspectives are valued. By creating engagement and direction in the work team, you are a driving force in the pedagogical development work.

Information about the recruitment

Due to the summer holidays, we will begin the selection and interviews in early August, hence the longer application period. Questions about the position will be answered after August 4th.
