At our Vux centers in Märsta, Uppsala, and Sundsvall, we train students for sought-after professions such as bus drivers, cargo handlers, truck drivers, forestry transport operators, truck mechanics, and car mechanics – professions that are crucial for society to function.

In Sundsvall, we launched our adult vocational education (Vux) in mid-May, and in August, we will also launch the car and truck mechanic program. Therefore, we are now looking for teachers for the truck mechanic education.

Vux follows the Swedish National Agency for Education's curricula, which include both theory and practical work. We are primarily looking for a teacher with strong drive and passion for educating tomorrow's colleagues.

You should be a calm, positive, and receptive person who can easily adapt your teaching methods to different learners. We prefer that you have pedagogical training or a vocational teacher certification.

Are you already a teacher in the vehicle sector looking for a change in your daily routine, or are you working as a truck mechanic and want to take the next step in your career by training future colleagues?

Your main responsibility involves teaching, both theoretical and practical, within the adult education program. The truck mechanic education will largely take place through APL (Work-Integrated Learning) at partner companies. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining close contact with our partners regarding the assessment of subject goals and grading. The position is a permanent employment with a start date in mid-August.

Qualifications: Vehicle mechanic with knowledge of modern technology and theoretical understanding.
