With 24/7 on-call service, clinics across the country, and unique knowledge of animal health, we contribute to healthier animals and a safer life. As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of private individuals, companies, and authorities. We offer socially vital services for emergency animal care, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always with our feet on the ground and our hearts in the right place. The District Veterinarians are part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and variedly with all types of animals, while also having room to develop within a specific species or area. We constantly strive for high quality in what we do; we are happy to learn from each other and share our knowledge and experience. Everyone is equally important, and everyone contributes to making our workplace pleasant and forward-looking. We have 24/7 on-call service, year-round, which means night and weekend work is part of the position.

Sometimes you work alone, but you are never isolated. We are a large organization, and support and advice from experienced colleagues is just a phone call away. During evenings and nights, there is always a manager on call (CiB) and our on-call phone 9900, where we have staff who receive calls from pet owners and coordinate contact with the relevant veterinarian. There is always a colleague to ask for advice, either a colleague on call (KiB) or at your own clinic or a nearby clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a Swedish veterinary license. We are looking for you who have experience in both large and small animal practice, as well as competence in dentistry for both horses and small animals.

A B-category driver's license is required.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, have good teamwork skills, and be solution-focused. It is important that you can work independently and be self-sufficient while appreciating collaboration with colleagues.

Furthermore, you need to have good computer skills and good administrative ability, as booking and record-keeping are important parts of the job.

Salary: Monthly salary.
