We are now looking for a physiotherapist for a position at the Orthopedic Department at Nyköping Hospital. This unit is characterized by excellent teamwork and a high patient volume, offering you great opportunities to learn and develop in your daily work.

Nyköping Hospital has an attractive location with proximity to both the E4 highway and the travel center, providing good commuting opportunities to cities such as Norrköping and Stockholm. Our Physiotherapy department consists of approximately 30 employees with broad experience and competence, fostering an open, inclusive, and supportive work climate.

Your Responsibilities

The role involves assessments and interventions for inpatients with common orthopedic conditions, primarily following various surgeries. Duties include mobilization, instruction in exercise programs, and prescription of assistive devices. In some cases, home visits and collaboration with municipal physiotherapists are also part of the role. As a physiotherapist at the orthopedic department, you play a central and important role in the patient-centered team. You will collaborate closely with occupational therapists and other professions on the ward.

Based on your preferences and development plan, there will be opportunities to explore and combine different areas of work. The employment is within Region Sörmland, located in Nyköping.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. You are confident in yourself and your professional role, capable of assessing and treating patients independently, while viewing collaboration as a prerequisite for providing the best possible care. Personal suitability is highly valued. A B-class driver's license is desired.
