About Us

The Nephrology Department, part of the Medical Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset, provides both emergency and planned care. The department is supported by specialist physicians and consists of 14 beds for patients with kidney diseases as well as general medicine patients. A day-care team is located adjacent to the department.

The department has two care leaders who act as mentors for new nurses and work on improvement projects and quality development. A good working environment is essential to us. We continuously strive for good communication and collaboration, and we encourage individual development based on personal interests. We encourage all employees to participate in improvement initiatives, large and small, which are ongoing. Our goal is to provide safe and secure care for our patients.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties include nursing care, medication management, documentation, and assessment of acutely ill patients. You will identify and meet the patient's individual needs by leading and prioritizing work within the team.

Your Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse. We are looking for someone who is responsible and focused on nursing care. You should have strong collaboration skills, be flexible and engaged, and put the patient first. We appreciate curiosity towards your profession.

We offer an onboarding process tailored to your skills and previous experience. The introduction period for new nurses is typically 5–6 weeks but can be extended if necessary. We also offer continuous professional development through lectures by physicians, observation at other clinics within the section, and mentoring time with the care leaders. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent position, 100% or according to agreement. Start date according to agreement.
