Your Mission

As a team leader in Nacka Municipality, you will inspire and motivate Nacka's young people in their first summer jobs. Your main focus is to lead groups of young people working during the summer who together renovate outdoor areas around Nacka. The goal is for the work to promote a pedagogical and sustainable outdoor environment for children and young people in Nacka Municipality.

The assignment is carried out by Nacka Municipality in collaboration with preschool staff. As a team leader, you should inspire and suggest ideas on how the schoolyards can be changed with simple means and how the trash from Nacka's beaches can be turned into art. Together with the young people, the ideas are created and realized.

We are looking for a team leader who can start working from June 8th to August 21st. As a team leader, you belong to a team of eight team leaders and two project managers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the young people in their tasks to change and improve the outdoor environment together
• Act as an inspirer and idea generator for the young people and the workplace
• Spread positive energy and create a good atmosphere among young summer workers
• Work with social media to inspire and showcase the creative creation
• Collaborate and cooperate with involved actors, other team leaders, and the workplace

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Have a B driver's license and good driving experience
• Are available throughout the summer
• Have previous work experience
• Have upper secondary education

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience working with young people
• Experience in team leadership
• Knowledge of carpentry and crafts
• Interest in innovation and sustainability
• Experience working in a project format

Good structure, quality awareness, and keeping safety in focus are some important qualities we are looking for. As a team leader, you are flexible, organized, and thrive in a varied environment. You take independent responsibility, work efficiently within timeframes, and can make well-founded decisions when necessary.

Collaboration skills are central, as well as being an empathetic communicator who can handle conflicts in a constructive way. A pedagogical and motivating attitude, along with initiative and ideas for solving work-related issues, is highly valued.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and strive for a dynamic work environment with employees of different ages. The minimum age for the position is 18 years.
