Fraktkedjan – Who are we?
Fraktkedjan is in an exciting phase of development and is now looking for a business-driven and engaged Regional Manager for our new Trestad region. Here you have a unique opportunity to lead and develop a business with strong local roots, high competence, and great ambitions for the future.
A strategic merger between Lastbilscentralerna Fraktkedjan and Centralen will take place this year. Once the merger is complete, the operations in Uddevalla and Vänersborg/Trollhättan will form the Trestad region – an important part of the new organization. As Regional Manager, you will play a central role in creating a strong and successful region where people, business, and development are at the forefront.
The merged company will have a turnover of approximately 1.4 billion SEK and consist of around 170 partners with a fleet of approximately 600 vehicles. Together, we will become one of the strongest players in transport and construction services in West Sweden.

Your new role
As Regional Manager for Trestad, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and further developing the region's operations. You are responsible for both operational management and strategic development, with a focus on leadership, business development, profitability, and sales.
In this role, you lead a team of approximately 45 employees and have full budget and profit/loss responsibility. You work closely with the operations, employees, and our partners/drivers to ensure strong collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
You report directly to the CEO and are part of Fraktkedjan's management team, where you actively contribute to realizing the company's long-term strategy and continued development. The position is based in Trestad with presence at our offices in both Uddevalla and Vänersborg.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are an experienced leader with a documented ability to successfully lead and develop businesses in change. You have worked with both operational and strategic issues and thrive in a role where you can combine business acumen with close and engaged leadership.
We consider it advantageous if you have experience of major change processes, organizational development, or business integrations, where you have contributed to creating engagement, cohesion, and a strong corporate culture. You are used to working independently and making decisions, while also appreciating the value of collaboration and seeing the strength in sharing experiences and ideas with colleagues and the management team.
As a person, you are business-driven, results-oriented, and have good strategic skills. You understand the importance of creating long-term value through strong relationships with customers, partners, and collaborators. You have a natural drive to develop both business and people and are motivated by creating sustainable results over time.
Your leadership is characterized by security, humility, and clarity. You are receptive, communicative, and create trust by being present and engaged. At the same time, you have the ability to set direction, inspire your employees, and lead the business towards set goals.
As Regional Manager, you will become an important ambassador for Fraktkedjan. You stand behind our vision, our values, and our way of doing business. Actively contributing to a positive corporate culture and good collaboration, both internally and externally, you see as a natural part of the assignment.
To succeed in the role, we believe you are unpretentious, flexible, and have a natural ability to build strong and long-term relationships. You feel just as comfortable in dialogue with our partners and drivers as in meetings with customers, employees, and other collaborators.
