Sotenäsbostäder AB is the municipal housing company in Sotenäs Municipality, managing approximately 1,200 apartments and fulfilling an important social mission – to offer attractive housing, good service, and long-term sustainable management for the municipality's residents.

We are now looking for a new CEO as our current Managing Director is retiring. We are looking for you who want to lead and further develop the company together with dedicated employees, the board, and the owner. Here, you will have the opportunity to build upon a well-functioning operation while simultaneously putting your own stamp on the company's continued development.

The Assignment
As CEO, you have overall responsibility for Sotenäsbostäder's operations, economy, and long-term development. You lead the company in close collaboration with the board and are responsible for translating shareholder directives and strategic goals into an efficient and sustainable operation.

You drive the company's continued development with a focus on business-like conduct, sound financial management, and high quality for the tenants. The assignment involves developing the organization, working methods, and offerings to meet future needs, while safeguarding the company's important social mission.

You lead through your managers and employees, create engagement and involvement, and build good relationships with owners, the board, tenants, and other key stakeholders.

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Leading and developing the operations based on the company's mission, goals, and shareholder directives.
• Ensuring long-term economic sustainability and good resource management.
• Driving operational development, digitalization, and improvement work.
• Developing the organization's competence, working methods, and leadership.
• Creating high customer satisfaction and good service for the company's tenants.
• Representing the company in dialogue with the board, municipality, media, and other external stakeholders.
• Contributing to Sotenäsbostäder continuing to be an attractive employer and collaboration partner.

The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility. Therefore, you must be able to switch between long-term perspectives, economic choices, and the day-to-day operations.

Profile
We are looking for you who have relevant academic education or equivalent experience that the employer deems comparable.

• You have experience leading operations with economic, operational, and personnel responsibility, as well as documented ability to create results through others.
• We would appreciate if you have:
• Experience leading managers, management teams, or larger operations.
• Experience initiating, driving, and implementing change and development work.
• Good economic understanding and experience with budget, investment, and profit responsibility.
• Ability to create structure, long-term planning, and clear prioritizations.
• Experience collaborating with boards, political representatives, or other complex stakeholder groups.
• Ability to build strong and trustful relationships both internally and externally.
• Good communication skills and experience representing an operation in external contexts.
• Experience from the real estate industry is meritorious but not decisive. We also welcome candidates from other operations where social benefit, service, infrastructure, or complex operational management have been central parts of the assignment.
• Experience from municipal companies, public operations, or politically governed organizations is meritorious.
