We are looking for three ambassadors who wish to develop our operations together with our current ambassadors, based out of our activity house in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg.

As an ambassador, you will be a co-creator in the project Space for Young Culture – an initiative focused on creating safe and inspiring environments where young people can take up space, test ideas, and grow together within their creative interests. Our future ambassadors should want to influence and contribute to change. As part of the project, you will reach out to and interview other young people.

As an ambassador, you will be part of a collective community where we strengthen each other. You are expected to take the initiative for your own activities, based on both your own ideas and the needs of others. The operation has access to our facilities – studio, music studio, rehearsal rooms, podcast booth, and more.

Our ambassadors receive an introduction to adult education (folkbildning) and training in democratic leadership. You will also learn how to arrange activities, lead groups, and have the opportunity to realize your own and others' ideas together with other young people.

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and comfortable meeting new people. To thrive in this role, you need to be a person with a desire to lead, teach, and create together with others. Our current ambassadors have skills in various art forms, such as theater, DJing, film, visual arts, and podcasting. Now we are looking for you who primarily have knowledge or interest in music and craft arts. Experience in multiple art forms is a bonus. But most importantly – you want to inspire others, build relationships, and help create something bigger than yourself.

Space for Young Culture is funded by the Swedish National Heritage Board (Allmänna Arvsfonden) and runs until June 2027. The project is driven by Studiefrämjandet, one of Sweden's largest study associations, focusing on adult education within culture, animals, nature, and the environment. The target group for the project is young people aged 13–25. We operate from our activity house on Gruvgatan in the Högsbo industrial area and collaborate with schools and youth activities in the area.

We are a democratically governed non-profit organization founded by 19 member organizations operating within our profile areas: nature, animals, environment, and culture.
