Job Description

We are now looking for a staff member for our student project Talent Hub North within the Relocation and Competence Supply Unit, Employment and Learning.

1 position.

Responsibilities

As a staff member in the student project, you work on creating relationships between students and employers in Boden. The role is operational and relationship-building, with a focus on increasing interest in Boden as a place to live and work after studies.

The position is 30% (12 hours/week) and suits especially well for you who are currently a student and want to work alongside your studies, or who have recently completed studies and have good knowledge of student life and networks connected to Luleå University of Technology. The work involves a combination of presence, coordination, and implementation of activities.

Your work includes, among other things:

• Representing Boden and local employers towards students, primarily at Luleå University of Technology (LTU).
• Building and maintaining relationships with students and relevant educational programs.
• Participating in collaboration meetings between LTU and the business community.
• Planning and implementing activities and events together with partners.
• Contributing to matching student skills with employer needs.

You also handle some administration related to activities and events.

The work is independent but takes place in close collaboration with the relocation and competence supply unit as well as the municipality's business functions.

The position is fixed-term for the period 2026-09-01 to 2027-09-30.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have:

• Good knowledge of Luleå University of Technology and its educational programs.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Meritorious experience includes:

• Experience working with events, projects, or coordination.
• Experience collaborating with students, educational providers, or the business community.
• Good knowledge of Boden as a location.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who are outgoing, curious, and have an easy time making new contacts. You are relationship-building and have a good ability to build and maintain trust, even in contexts where different interests meet.

You work independently and structured, while also enjoying collaborating with others, for example in planning and implementing activities and events. A genuine interest in Boden and its development is seen as an important driving force in the role.

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
