We are looking for an experienced interim Group Manager for a consulting assignment within infrastructure management and water and wastewater services (VA). The group's task is to translate the organization's investment needs into completed new constructions and renovations, as well as to ensure updated hydraulic status analyses for the facilities.

As Group Manager, you are responsible for leading, planning, and following up on the group's operations based on set goals and given frameworks. You ensure that processes and working methods are efficient and comply with current legislation, internal governing documents, and the organization's guidelines.

You lead a group of approximately eight employees and are part of a unit responsible for infrastructure management within the water and wastewater sector.

  • Scope: Full-time (100%).
  • Assignment period: Preliminarily September 2026 to September 2027, with the possibility of extension by agreement.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Leading, developing, and following up on the group's operations through active and present leadership.
  • Planning, prioritizing, and ensuring deliveries against set goals.
  • Implementing and following up on decisions made within the group's area of responsibility.
  • Supporting the Unit Manager in strategic and operational development issues.
  • Being responsible for operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing employees while ensuring a good working environment.
  • Driving improvement and efficiency work within the group's area of responsibility.
  • Collaborating with other operations and support functions to create efficient working methods.
  • Representing the group in internal and, if necessary, external forums.
  • Working proactively with quality, accountability, and continuous development.

In addition to the above, additional tasks may be added by agreement with the responsible manager.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Operational responsibility within the group's area of responsibility.
  • Personnel responsibility, including working environment responsibility.
  • Economic responsibility according to assigned mandates.
  • Responsibility for ensuring compliance with internal governing documents and guidelines.
  • Authority to make decisions within delegated areas of responsibility.
  • Responsibility for quality assurance when taking over new and renovated facilities.
