Do you want to work in an international environment where business focus, finance, and project management converge? Siemens Energy is now looking for a Commercial Project Manager for Global Service Operations for medium-sized gas turbines.

About the Role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you are responsible for the commercial and financial management of projects during the execution phase. You work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project profitability, compliance, and financial tracking. The role involves numerous contact points and the opportunity to work in an international organization handling complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of the project.
  • Ensure correct accounting, reporting, and compliance with IFRS 15.
  • Monitor revenue, margins, cash flow, and balance sheet items.
  • Handle invoicing, bank guarantees, and payment security.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in project data and documentation.
  • Work with SAP and other business systems.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement measures together with the project manager.
  • Contribute to cost control and profitability development.
  • Participate in international collaborations and business travel as needed.

Competency Requirements
  • Relevant university or college degree.
  • Experience in project economics, accounting, controlling, or banking.
  • Good understanding of financial tracking and business management.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Very good skills in Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
