About the role

As the Production Technology Manager, you lead a team of engineers and project managers working across the production facility in Fagersta. Together, you support the business with technical expertise and drive initiatives that develop and future-proof production. You report to the Head of Technology and Quality and are an active member of the department's management group.

You support the organization with technical expertise, structure, and drive, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and future-proof production. The work involves driving and coordinating projects, supporting investment processes, and developing solutions within automation, data-driven decision-making, and smarter production systems.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and coach the team in developing and future-proofing production
• Plan, prioritize, and follow up on activities to achieve set goals
• Drive strategic work within the department
• Responsible for budget, work environment, and personnel-related issues
• Define project assignments and follow up on ongoing projects

Location

The position is located in Fagersta.

Your profile

You have a production technology background and a relevant technical education, or equivalent work experience. Leadership experience is an asset, and you work comfortably with digital tools. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.

Your personal traits combine a strong interest in technology with a commitment to people. You work in a structured manner, have good communication skills, and thrive in a role where you drive development forward. Through your leadership style, you contribute to an inclusive culture where safety and continuous improvement are in focus.
