Rehabilitation in Västernorrland is a county-wide operation with approximately 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. At the rehabilitation clinic, we work from an interdisciplinary perspective. The target group for rehabilitation is people with permanent disabilities, with the largest groups being autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability.

We are now looking for a special educator for the children's unit in Sundsvall, to join our ADHD/Autism (NPF) team. We see great advantages in teamwork, where occupational therapists, counselors, psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, and physiotherapists are included. The team also works together with rehabilitation physicians and nurses. Good collaboration between professional groups is a necessity for quality in the work with patients and their relatives/network. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-10-01 or as agreed. You will primarily work with children aged 0–14 years with neuropsychiatric disabilities. The assignment will be expanded to include children aged 0–18 years starting from September 2027.

In our work at the children's unit, the special educator participates in, among other things:

• Neuropsychological assessments
• Providing support regarding communication, interaction, and interventions related to behavior
• Information transfer and method development

Collaboration with other healthcare providers and organizations is included. Teamwork is a central part of the job.

• Have further education as a special educator
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Hold a B driver's license

• Have experience working with children with neurological disabilities
