Höga Kusten Theoretical High School is an independent upper secondary school located in the heart of Örnsköldsvik, right by the harbor and close to the travel center with good transport connections. Since our founding in 2009, we have offered education within the Natural Science program, the Social Science program, and the Economics program.

About the position

We are now looking for a Physical Education (PE) teacher for Höga Kusten Theoretical High School.

The position is a fixed-term appointment at 50% during the autumn term of 2026, starting at the beginning of the school year in August and continuing until the turn of the year. Since the position involves half-time work during a limited period, it may be a good fit for you who wish to combine the assignment with other employment, studies, or other activities.

Teaching takes place at the upper secondary level and includes courses in Physical Education and Health. As a PE teacher with us, you will meet students from our various programs and play an important role in creating teaching that promotes joy in movement, health, responsibility, and personal development.

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Physical Education and Health, or alternatively have other relevant competence and experience in teaching and working with young people. You need to be confident in your interactions with students, clear in your teaching, and able to create structure, engagement, and good relationships.
