About Us

Mollösunds Wärdshus is a historic inn located at the tip of Orust, in the old fishing village of Mollösund. The kitchen is the heart of the house, and we serve honest, seasonal food using ingredients from the sea and Bohuslän.

About the Role

We are looking for a cold kitchen chef to take responsibility for the cold kitchen – appetizers, salads, desserts, buffets, and presentation. You have an eye for beautiful plating and maintain top-notch order and hygiene. Here, the pace is fast, things are always happening, and we are a great team that enjoys working together.

Employment

Seasonal employment with immediate start – we are fully operational during the summer. Full-time or part-time by agreement, salary by agreement. There may be continued work in the autumn, focusing more on weekends, events, and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present cold dishes, appetizers, and desserts
• Manage buffets and smörgåsbord for groups and events
• Maintain hygiene, order, and self-control in the cold kitchen
• Support the hot kitchen when needed

Qualifications

• Experience in cold kitchen work or similar kitchen roles
• Meticulous, fast, and aesthetically minded
• Responsible and a team player
• Basic knowledge of Swedish or English

Preferred Qualifications

• Restaurant or chef education
• Experience with buffets and event catering
• Living on or near Orust
