Do you want to work with advanced software development in a technical and long-term assignment? We are now looking for experienced Embedded Developers who want to become part of Nexer Engineering and work as consultants in a team with one of our clients in the defense industry. You will be based at Nexer's office in central Linköping, working together with your team.

About the assignment

In this role, you will develop and test software for the control of tactical radio systems within the defense industry. You will become part of a team working with the entire development chain – from implementation and testing to documentation and quality assurance according to established safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and testing software for the control of tactical radio systems.
• Working with hardware-oriented programming in C.
• Ensuring that development follows current safety requirements and standards.
• Applying DO-178C in the development and testing process.
• Documenting solutions, workflows, and results.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 6 years of experience with the C programming language.
• Experience with hardware-oriented programming.
• Experience in developing and testing safety-critical systems.
• Good understanding of safety standards and certification processes.
• Experience in developing control and monitoring for tactical radio systems or similar complex systems.
• Swedish citizenship (required for security-cleared assignments).

Merits

• Practical experience working according to DO-178C.
