Scanjet was founded in Sjöbo in 1987 and is characterized by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Our production facility in Sjöbo is a production and production technology center for key components and spare parts for the whole world. Approximately 80 people work on site, of whom 40 are in production. In addition to production, there are departments for forwarding, purchasing, finance, aftermarket sales, and development.

Your Responsibilities
In the role of CNC Operator, you report to the Group Manager for the Workshop. You will independently set up, program, rig, and operate CNC-controlled milling machines and/or lathes from the brand Mori Seiki (Fanuc). You will inspect the machined components to ensure they meet the prescribed quality standards and tolerances. Stainless steel and bronze are the most common metals we machine. You will be part of a team responsible for this machine group, but will also work independently in your role to manufacture high-quality parts according to our drawings.
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Following work descriptions and procedures within the work area, and informing the group manager of any deviations.
- Working so that established run plans and delivery times are maintained.
- Meeting the production and quality goals of the work area.
- Contributing to flexibility by participating in training and working in other work areas when required.
- Maintaining and caring for equipment to avoid unplanned stops.
- Ensuring order and cleanliness at your own workstation.
Your Background/Personal Qualities
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Have several years of experience working as a CNC operator, including programming.
- Have experience programming in CAM Works or similar software.
- Have documented experience from other common workshop tasks such as drilling, threading, cutting, pressing, and manual turning.
- Have good knowledge of reading drawings and metrology.
- Speak and write Swedish fluently and can process written information in English.
- Can independently plan your work and are solution-oriented.
- Are responsible, proactive, and cooperative as a person.
- Enjoy suggesting improvements for the business and then being driving forces in implementing them.
- Have a B driver's license, forklift, and overhead crane certificates.
It is an advantage if you:
- Have documented experience working with Lean and/or Six Sigma.
- Have worked in the ERP system Monitor.
