About the company

At Goldschmidt, we manufacture specialized vehicles for railway maintenance – vehicles that combine advanced technology, precision, and quality. The company is in an expansion phase, featuring a new assembly hall and a modern machine park. Over the coming years, our manufacturing machine park (cutting, sawing, and machining) will be gradually updated. As a production operator, you will work with programming in the control system (Heidenhain) for a milling machine. Your experience with older machines will be valuable to us as you take on a central role in our current machine park – you will help keep today's production running while also participating in the setup of our new hall.

Your responsibilities

In the role of operator, you will become a key person in the process where our specially adapted vehicles take shape. You will work with both material preparation and machining within our manufacturing department – from raw materials to finished components. The tasks include, among other things: • Machining (drilling, milling, and turning). • Contributing to the efficient operation of the existing machine park. You will have a central role in keeping our current machine park running and will be involved in the construction of our new machine hall with modern equipment.

Your background / Personal qualities

We are looking for you who have experience in machining and thrive in an environment where technology, craftsmanship, and precision meet. Requirements: • Experience in machining • Ability to read technical drawings • Valid B-driver's license • Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written Merits: • Programming of control systems (Heidenhain system) • Experience operating manual drilling machines and older manual lathes Personal qualities: You are structured, engaged, and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking responsibility, like contributing to improvements, and look forward to being part of our development – from today's machine park to tomorrow's modern production environment.
