Scanjet was founded in Sjöbo in 1987 and is characterized by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Our production facility in Sjöbo is a production and production technology center for key components and spare parts for the whole world. Your Responsibilities

In the role of Welder, you report to the Workshop Group Manager. You will be responsible for carrying out your work in the ongoing production independently in accordance with ISO 3834-2, while also providing improvement proposals to enhance the product, process, and workplace. Your responsibilities will include, among other things: • Following work descriptions and procedures within the work area. • Working to ensure that established schedules and delivery times are met. • Meeting the production and quality goals of the work area. • Maintaining and servicing equipment to avoid unplanned stoppages. • Ensuring order and cleanliness at your own workstation.

Your Background and Qualities

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who: • Has a workshop education or equivalent work experience with a focus on welding. • Has sufficient skill to pass welding tests for the welding methods used at the company: o TIG welding with homogeneous rod/wire o TIG welding without filler material o MAG welding with slag-forming tubular electrode o Orbital welding, both open and closed torch • Has experience from other common workshop tasks such as drilling, threading, and cutting. • Has good knowledge of reading drawings and metrology. • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently and can comprehend written information in English. • Can plan your work independently and is solution-oriented. • Is responsible, proactive, and cooperative as a person. • Likes to suggest improvements for the business and then take the lead in implementing them. • Has a B driving license, forklift, and overhead crane certificates. It is an advantage if you: • Have active certificates for welding in stainless steel. • Have documented experience working with Lean and/or Six Sigma. • Have worked in the ERP system Monitor.
