Siemens Energy in Finspång is in an expansion phase where we are investing in new technology, digitalization, and future production equipment. To meet growth and take the next step in Smart Maintenance, we are now dividing our maintenance organization and seeking a new manager for our electricians, automation technicians, and future OT (Operational Technology) competencies.

Maintenance creates sustainability through high availability, which contributes to the company's development, profitability, safety, growth, and well-being.

Machine Service is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as modernizations of a very extensive and technically advanced machine park. The operations cover many different technologies.

How you will make an impact

We are not looking for the foremost automation specialist. We are looking for you who can develop people, create structure, and drive change.

You will lead a team with high technical competence in electricity and automation, where specialist knowledge already exists. Your task will be to create the right conditions for this competence to be used effectively, systematically, and long-term.

A central part of the assignment is our focus on data-driven and predictive maintenance. Together with the operations, BFC, and external partners, we will connect a large number of critical production machines, install external sensors, and use AI-based analysis to identify trends, detect deviations, and predict failures before they occur.

The role is about translating electricity, automation, OT, data, and AI into concrete improvements in daily operations – with higher availability, better decision-making, and increased robustness as goals.

About the team

Since the maintenance organization is now divided into two management areas, cooperation between managers is an absolute requirement. The division should not create silos – it should create better conditions for growth, clearer responsibilities, and a stronger joint maintenance organization.

You will therefore work very closely with the manager for CNC maintenance and machine availability. Together, you are expected to develop common working methods, common priorities, common goals, and a joint path towards predictive maintenance.

Qualifications for this role

• Background in electricity, automation, or power engineering.
• Experience with electrical safety work.
• Ability to eventually take over electrical safety responsibility for production equipment.
• Experience with OT, industrial automation, sensors, data collection, or predictive maintenance.
