Siemens Energy is growing rapidly, and investments in new production capacity continue. To meet future demands, we are developing our maintenance organization and are now looking for a Manager for Maintenance Technicians with a focus on CNC machines and critical production equipment.

Maintenance creates sustainability through high availability, contributing to the company's development, profitability, safety, growth, and employee well-being.

Machine Service is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modernization of a very extensive and technically advanced machine park. The operations cover many different technologies.

We are now looking for a leader who wants to take responsibility for developing both people, working methods, and future maintenance strategies.

How you can make an impact

We are not looking for the best CNC technician. We are looking for you, who can create structure, build teams, and develop the business.

You will lead a team of highly experienced maintenance technicians working with some of the market's most advanced production equipment. The specialist competence already exists among the employees. Your role will be to create the conditions for this competence to be used even better through standardized working methods, planning, follow-up, clear interfaces, and continuous improvements.

An important part of the assignment is to support Siemens Energy's journey towards predictive maintenance. Together with the operations and external partners, we will connect a large number of critical production machines, install external sensors, and use AI-based analysis to identify patterns, detect deviations, predict failures, and optimize maintenance efforts.

Future maintenance is not just about repairing machines when they break down – it is about understanding why they will break down and acting before the disruption affects operations.

Other tasks

• Create structure in planning, prioritization, and follow-up.
• Strengthen preventive and condition-based maintenance.
• Develop operator maintenance and daily working methods.
• Drive root cause analysis and improvement work.
• Reduce person-dependency through competence development and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure that collected data is used practically in everyday work.
• Contribute to the shift from traditional maintenance to AI-assisted, data-driven, and predictive maintenance.

About the team

Since the maintenance organization is now divided into three managerial areas, collaboration between managers is an absolute requirement. The division should not create silos – it should create better conditions for growth, clearer responsibilities, and a stronger joint maintenance organization.

You will therefore work very closely with the Manager for Electrical, Automation, and Predictive Maintenance. Together, you are expected to develop common working methods, common priorities, common goals, and a joint path towards predictive maintenance.
